He also gives back: along with his wife of 31 years, Sherry, he founded Operation Safe Haven during the height of COVID, connecting Maui’s first-responders with zero-cost accommodations to mitigate family infection risk. He enjoys Maui’s outdoor lifestyle and plays competitive hardball (baseball) in mainland tournaments and plays locally for the Kihei Centipedes baseball club. He grew up in Southern California and is a former high-performance test driver and Editor for Hot Boat Magazine. He has authored three books: The Maui Condo Book, The Cella System (both Maui real estate best-sellers), and the fictional Island Law.
