Fuego Restaurant: A Vacation Maui Favorite
Each month we share one of our favorite Maui restaurants, focusing on south-side venues (Kihei and Wailea) with an occasional west-side favorite mixed in. This month we feature Fuego, a restaurant that specializes in Argentinean-style dishes and offers a fantastic selection of wines that will transport you right to Buenos Aires!
Fuego's authentic flavors have captured the hearts of both locals and visitors alike. They offer a wide variety of dishes, but their tenderloin steak sauteed in Malbec reduction is a renowned classic. The Malbec reduction's mellow and flavorful taste pairs perfectly with the steak. Since you're in paradise, you should also try their freshly caught breaded Mahi-Mahi. If you have a sweet tooth, Fuego has got you covered with their very own Cafe de Buenos Aires that features Argentinean homemade treats and pastries. In addition to their regular menu, Fuego also has daily specials, so don't forget to ask for the Argentinian special of the day.
