Lahaina’s residents are slowly beginning to rebuild, with a current focus on debris removal and a revival of local businesses. West Maui is open for business, apart from the historic downtown Lahaina district. Last week our Governor announced that the demand for interim housing for displaced fire victims has been met, and that vacation rentals are no longer a factor in the previous shortage.
