MAUI VISTA – 6 SALES
It was a banner month at Maui Vista, the tidy little property located directly across the street from Charlie Young Beach and Kam I, with five closed 1-bedroom sales between $725,000 and $773,000. One 2-bedroom sold, the first Maui Vista closing ever to exceed $1M – unit 3-410, closing at $1,002,500.
KIHEI BEACH – 2 SALES
Our favorite North Kihei ocean front property (we manage unit 606 here) saw two units (301 and 501), both listed at $1,450,000, close escrow in April. Unit 301 was on market for almost five months before landing at $1,385,000, while 501 sold for $50K over asking, $1,500,000.
MAUI BANYAN P201 – $1,365,000
Maui Banyan continues to enjoy success as a vacation rental venue, and unit P201 closed at $1,365,000 after around 90 days on market. This unit featured an attractive reno, and should do well in the VR fray.
KAMAOLE SANDS 9-405
The Kamaole Sands “unicorn” – the all-elusive 3-bedroom vacation rental – comes up only once in a while, and this one commanded a premium, closing at $1,900,000 after a list of $2,195,000. It took a little less than four months to hit contract.
